A child eating fruit out of a cocktail?! That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Maybe. I've said it before and I'll say it again, these parents need to be fired, not the teachers! 😄

True story: one morning I (at 6 years old) had some orange juice, from a standard carton that you buy at the store, from the fridge. It tasted a bit off to me. I tried another sip, then announced to my mom that the OJ had gone bad. She legit replied, “oh yeah, I forgot to tell you to not drink that. I put vodka in it.” 😳🤦🏼‍♀️

My brother and I had eaten fermented berries and jam when we were young. We got drunk off of them. It wasn’t intentional just ate fermented fruits. It’s probably why I didn’t seem to think strawberries smell bad when they start to go bad (unless there’s mold but if there’s not a lot of mold it won’t smell that bad to me)

I once had a friend who rarely drank and one evening she was completely shot. She than proudly told us that she only ate the fruit out of the punch to not get drunk. We had a really good laugh...

When I was a teen we were having a bd party at a friends place. We opened a couple of bottles of carbonated water and for some reason one of them had alcohol in it. No idea why, they were straight from the store, seals were not broken.
So without knowing, I have a sip and shudder 'ew, wtf'. Then my friends laugh at me 'it's not that bubbly, don't be so dramatic, let me try', I pass it over and they all have the same reaction as me xD
We just called a parent, explained that there's smth wrong with the drink and they took it away.

When I was around 8 my dad was doing yard work and he was super persistent about me not drinking his drink, it was summer and of course once he left I took a sip, , , , why was this man drinking HARD LIQUOR in the blazing heat at

I've made pie from the cherries in storebought cherry moonshine.
Though I was *pretty* sure that the alcohol cooked out in the oven, my conscience made me bake another with canned cherries & keep it separate for the kids to enjoy.
Im not tripping over apple cheeked drunks in my house.

When babysitting me my grandad used to put a few drops of sherry in my bottle of formula. Apparently it helped me sleep. 😅

Hey, in Wisconsin it’s legal to drink at the bar with your parent, if you’re underage. The small town I live in often has 16 year olds in the bar, drinking with mom & dad, after they get their license. Because they see nothing wrong with this. Which is scary in itself.

My hubby and I were visiting his cousin, in the morning she said to grab the oj from the fridge, wrong pitcher, juice glass of fuzzy navel with breakfast is not bad at all. No, none of us had a drinking problem and there were no children involved.😊😊

One BIGGGG fight my Husband and I had. Had a Party over the weekend with a keg. He said Man this sucks we didn't even drink it all. So he filled up 2 pitchers and Put them in the fridge before taking the Keg back. Never told me so when My son wanted 'apple juice' I told him go get some. The app Juice I make from concentrate In a Pitcher. 6 Year old comes to tell Me . Mom the apple Juice is Bad. Yup it was Beer.
