This helped me immensely, I thought that my noggin had grown on the way home from the bikes tore.
Arai instructions are vice versa(face then top) and that technique was impossible on my head.

Not to be negative, but if one has longish hair, the method your using to put the helmet on will push all of it into one's eyes. The helmet you're using to demonstrate also looks a bit loose. The other instructions I've seen generally start with the helmet tilted forward, then rolling it back into position as one pulls it down over one's ears.

Is it okay to pull the helmet down using the chin strap? My arai RX7X is kinda hard to put on and off because it's still new. I'm worried it will damage the strap mounting points overtime but that's how I see most people on youtube put on their helmets.

i have a new helmet that fits perfect, but is causes pain to my ears from putting it on and off.

The helmet shown is way too big, that's why you are able to do the movement. With a tight helmet - as it should be - you grab the helmet by the straps, position it on the top of your head, spread the paddings and pull the helmet over your ears and then adjust it into the right position.

thanks do the rules matter when putting on a helmet.... I think the rules don't matter as much because it should just be secured any way you put on the helmet
