Bedard has become an absolute SAVAGE

Connor Bedard has clearly shown the league, he can hang when it comes to pure skill alone. No doubt about it, but this is the NHL. The big boy league, he obviously broke his jaw just over 6 weeks ago and at times, guys have tried to test him. Bully him around a bit, we saw it Matthew Tkachuk, with Brad Marchand and last night as the Chicago Blackhawks came into Carolina, we saw it again. Hurricanes Sebastian Aho laid a big reverse hit, sitting the rookie down and after the 2nd period, he got an extra shove from Spencer Martin after Bedard was pushed into him. Not only Bedard he not back down, he answered by knocking Spencers stick out of his hand and then, on the score sheet before staring down Martin like the savage he is. It was overall a dominate game from the Carolina Hurricanes though but I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video!

After missing some time, is Bedard STILL a lock for the Calder?

"But now that he's back...they still suck" XD. Even as a hawks fan you had me lolling on this.

Instead of becoming more fearful since he broke his jaw he’s become more aggressive without any fear

“Bedard is the blackhawks. And now that he’s back… they still suck BUT” that caught me off guard 🤣

Him staring down down Martin, who then promptly points to the scoreboard is hilarious

While Bedards shot is well known, his play making abilities are equally as impressive. Every game, he makes two or three elite dishes that are squandered by guys who either aren't ready or lack the skill to put them in. He reminds me of a Patrick Kane with a Matthew's shot so far early on.

I feel bad for Mrazek. He gets beaten up every game and really can't rely on consistent D. Not a 'Hawks fan, particularly, just saying as an old goalie from way back. Bedard is a lot of fun to watch and happy to see his transition to the bigs. He was electric with the Pats (my home town team) and has performed great so far with every challenge.

I noticed that about him during the inline skating league this summer. Pretty big dude gave him a push and he immediately came right back at him. Respect

Martin vs Bedard was hilarious. I was there last night and didn't even notice it as i was picking up my beer.

Also great to see Petr Mrazek back in Rallytown. Love that man.

Yes Connor is doing much better than expected
Same results at every level of his minor & Junior Hockey career
Always playing against players 2 yes older than, bigger. Stronger
Yet he excelled at every level
NHL is no different
However Blackhawks need to add players to assist him
He can't be only Blackhawk pushing the opposition

I'm a 60 year old Bruin's fan and I don't normally follow other teams or players but this year for some reason I have been interested in keeping tabs on Connor Bedard and McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers. They are both exciting to follow and seem like really good guys.
The Oilers have really turned things around since the beginning of the year and we should see them in the Stanley Cup soon.
