Hey there, Chris! Thank you very much for this meditation on the beautiful and dramatic imagery of revelation 4. I love the use of visual symbols in your videos and have been greatly blessed and moved by them many a time.


Yesterday I was confronted by the second commandment and reflecting on whether or not my art (many pieces featuring Jesus) would be considered a violation of said commandment. In this vein, I even made a little set apart space for my quiet time with the LORD, adorning it with little sculptures that expressed my relationship with him. By all accounts, it could be considered an altar (which was in part why I was reflecting about this topic). but the spirit moved me back two steps, and that was when I realized the key point. I am an artist, I express myself. But more importantly I respond to he who has redeemed me and done so much for me. He loved me since before the foundation of the world, and so I love him. My art therefore had never been about making an image I could adore, or even through which I could adore. It has always been, as you say in this video, singing as a result of savoring what has been perceived.


I believe that the message you usually put at the beginning of your animations: "The images in this animation are not intended as objects of worship, but to teach us about the one true God whom we are to worship", is also especially connected to this topic of the respiration that we are created for. Seeing this video just a day after my reflections and hours after my morning devotional (which was also connected to this topic) is just one of those unexpected little rich things that God has sent my way to reaffirm my calling as an artist I think, so thank you and thanks be to God for your fabulous ministry.


As you said, these artworks are the wake, our song, that we as artists let out because it is in our nature once we see. Once our eyes start opening one by one. I love what you said, "Let us not make our art our end goal." I agree with it 100%. Keep up the good work and God bless!

I was fearful that a project of mine wasn't going to be completed if I got tired, but now I see how it's just an expression of His work in me. I'm not fluent in English, but I hope that made sense.

How interesting. I have been particularly troubled in what career to persue and despite at first I loved the idea of study medicine in order to become a medic I started to lose interested in that... way too much, honestly. Yes, is interesting but everytime I study topics related to it something inside my heads it's like reminding me: "Hey, and your draws? What with that talent?". It's like a constant reminder that perhaps medicine is not the thing I should do, but perhaps something related to art, which in a way would still make sense cause since when I was a child I had always liked and upgraded my skills in drawing and I can even say I have a passion for that.

Lately I have been asking God for guiadance, and after a week or to, now the day I write this, I woke up and saw this. In a way perhaps it isn't a big deal, but this channel had always inspired me to try to do animations or artwork related to my Saviour and more, so it was kind of a great surprise you upladed this video; it's almost like a sign for me of God saying: "Go for it".

Perhaps I'm wrong and it's just my mind, but honestly I can't think of other passion or something else I would like to do much like I would do creating videogames, storyboards, animations and artwork, so if this is what God wants may He help me with this.

Just want to let you know, I’ve been feeling really lost in life… I have been feeling that I’ve lost many of my passions, namely, my creativity.

I recently felt that maybe I should pick up my paintbrush again. About 5 years ago I felt God telling me that he wanted me to use my art to reveal him to the world… life got in the way.

Today I was at a real low. I was crying out to God in prayer, pleading to him that he would give me some sense of direction. I heard a little voice in my head telling me to watch Full of Eyes’ most recent video. Strange as I have not watched your content in years…

Anyways I’ve just finished watching this video… it confirmed my purpose to me. Thanks for being part of what helped remind of my purpose in life. To see God first. To create what I see second.

Praise be to God who never leaves us in our darkness for longer than we can bear.
