Google forced to sell Chrome... instead of offering it for free.

How is this Google's fault? Google never forces anyone to use Chrome, the users themselves take the effort to download and install it. And Google never blocks any developers from entering this market.

BS. One can go in the settings of Google Chrome and change the default search engine at any time.

I hate corporations and have no love for Google, but I use their services due to costs. I hope they don’t ruin the internet for me by breaking them up.

That's why Google gave up on Chromebooks recently, and they want to release Android laptops.

Surprised they would have to sell Chrome, but not YouTube...

theres so many good browsers out there, but most companies require use of google chrome so that decision would affect them, or possibly not, it's too early to tell, because a decision hasn't been made yet and the details of that decision haven't been worked out quite yet, so we have yet to see.

Chrome is the main browser so far it has protected everyone's information well. If they sell it, I don't know what will happen.

Can I still use Chrome if it gets sold? Will all stuff on there still be up? Will my Google accounts still be there?

Google should make it completely open source and then sell it.

Chrome is a fork of Chromium (an open source project not owned by Google)
