VW MIB2 car image coding, change vehicle picture

How to change car image in #Volkswagen after #MIB2 system retrofit to match actual vehicle variant. Check popular picture coding options and #OBDeleven examples. Module 5F stores vehicle brand, model, generation, variant, and variant supplement. If you set those values correctly, you will see on the display the correct vehicle image. Those settings will be shown in board computer, climatronic menu, sound fader-balance, background lights, parktronic / rear view camera, and number of other options that are displayed on the infotainment screen.

Thank you for this great video! I will change my MIB1 Unit in my VW Sportsvan to an MIB2 Unit soon. As far as I know, the MIB2 unit I bought was part of an Golf MK7 with a manual transmission, however my car has an automatic transmission. Do I have to do some coding regarding the different transmissions?
