Great looking project with some neat ideas, all wrapped up in possibly the most disturbing promotional video ever made.

The music is much too loud and interferes with the information presented.

You had me until the annoying don't-look-at-the-camera style.

1:45 the music is louder than the monologue. Amazing.

Nice project, if anyone continues this work I would suggest explaining IP rating for coolant and small ships, I would also like to see a demonstration of the rigidity. Also showing it holding something while cutting would be a nice touch.

They were confused at which way the camera was facing? Lucky it doesn't look like they're reading from a script.

The whole "don't look into the camera" thing really pissed me off a lot more than it should have. Lol. Like, wtf is the point ?

Very nice design, would you mind sending me the CAD files too, please ?
Thank you in advance, congrats for the work and publication and kudos for the humanity friendly licensing 👍

Nice job by the students. I've read the pdf but it would be useful to have the CAD file if that is available online?

To everyone who watches just forget about cad files, parts list, or any other information to help you diy yourself. I’m hard pressed to believe $1000 can build that. $3, 000 yes that is feasible however this is their graduate program and centrally just a nose up at the hobby community that it took engineers to make it. Of course we know the $30, 000 units don’t cost much to make. It’s name brand.

i like this one because it looks like it can be used as a cnc lathe as well as a cnc mill. I wonder if they sell it without the electronics box at a lower price.

Hey, I know I'm a bit late to the party, but ignore all the people bitching about the presentation.
If they took the time to read the description, they would know you are students.
The real problem was you tried to make a high end presentation like what the big outfits do, you would have done better to have someone talk about while playing with it in the shop so it would seem more homey.

you are using 8825 drivers to control those nema 23 motors? iam not saying it wont work but you have other a little more expensive but more reliable choices. for 10 bucks or less you can put a TB6600 and 36v for full chooch.. and i dont want to ask what the arduino is doing there..
