we’ve used fbf (mylar foil on either side of a bubble layer) insulation for about 15 years now in our huge picture windows, and it makes a world of difference. the mylar reflect the heat inward in the winter and out ward in the summer to excellent effect.

looks like your foil/foam/foil would be much easier to keep in place!

I might do it this summer because i don't have AC, im from South America (its winter now) do you think it makes a huge difference? Some people told me if i do it i should put it on the outside because if i put it on the inside it will heat up the window 🤔

for double windows should you put the barrier in between the 2 windows or inside part of the room of the window
