Someone obviously was made so traumatized by that scene that they just had to make things right for poor ol’ Scout.

After managing to get away, Scout’s Mom disguised as the Pyro after killing him, mask and all. Scout was happy to see his mom again after the incident, hence his little jig.

Context: Scout was upset after being laid off from his job at BLU, spending time watching television as a way to cope. Pyro, wanting to make his colleague happy again decided to visit Scout wearing a more formal version of his flame retardant suit and mask. Scout, happy to see his former colleague again, runs up and gives them a hug

this was quite a deep and intricate instalment in the series.. There’s a blu engineer, a reference to ‘spy’s disguise’, the first in the series. Also, the title is a clever nod to ‘emesis blu’ as you can tell they both actually have ‘emesis’ in their names, upon careful inspection. Truly genius how thought ahead this series is.
