This goddess was requested for me to speak about - Styx.

A lesser known deity, at least in the modern world it seems. But make no mistake - she is powerful and formidable!

I named my daughters black kitten Styx, spelled it that way too. I said "I think its a goddess or a river in the underworld. " Shortly after that Hekate revealed herself to me.

Many years ago, suddenly, out of the blue, I experienced what can only be described as "a river of beauty" flowing up my back. It was deeply green and Nature itself - I became Nature. It lasted for a time then next day gradually faded. I have often wondered about that experience and regret that it has not been repeated. So this video on the goddess Styx is very interesting to me, thank you.

Now, for you and others...the closest i have heard of relating Styx and others very Personalities and Beings is in the audio retellings of myths on Living Mythology on Ytube. Lady Lightbringers portial of Styx in the narration of Hades tour of the Underworld as the Virgil to his Dante is like hearing the Goddess Herself....truly...

I always think of the 6 of Swords Tarot card when I hear the name Styx. I never thought of it as liminal until just now. But, it is, isn't it? TFS
