This battery reconditioning program exceeded my presumptions. It worked on any drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries batery.repair and any camera battery. The steps are simple and the act itself is exciting to do. No matter what type of battery you`ve got, it is sure to function again!

I just did this today. My battery had to have been dead for no less than 10 years. I no longer have the charger for it and it's a 9.6 volt battery. So instead I used a small 12 volt wall plug power adapter. And trusted a different video saying that the center of the plug is positive and the outer of the plug to be negative since they are not marked. So I connected the negative to the battery with a rubber band to hold it in place then tapped the positive to the positive of the battery repeatedly for 2 or 3 minutes then left both connected for about 20 minutes. Running out of patience I tried the battery in my cordless rebar tier ( very expensive device ) sure enough it turned on but was very sluggish so I connected it back up to the 12 volt power adapter for a little over an hour (didn't want to overcharge it to 12!) and tried it again and it worked great! Very helpful information thank you so much!!

Thank you so much sir. My lawn edger battery lying dead for the last eight years got working like a new one with the shock treatment you suggested. God bless you. Imagine my eight years of chronic stress about the edger gone in minutes. Thank you a million !!

😮😮😮. I really don't how this worked but it did. I felt a bit silly flicking the switch on and off. This is incredible. My battery had been dead for around 8 years, it's pure magic. Thanks so much £60 saved.

Worked for me in June 2022 on a really old Craftsman 19.2 volt. Got some free old 19.2 volt drills and a saw from craigslist and this got them working thank you!

I was doubted it would work, but actually it worked and revived two battery packs of my drill. Thank you so much. Proudly subscribed.

You just save me hundreds of dollars because I have about 20 batteries that wouldn’t charge from over the years. I can’t wait to try this. Thank you very much. Oh by the way I’m 75 and still going

I was about ready to throw my14.4V Rigid 1/2" heavy duty away (2.5Ah battery) and desperately wanted to not heave it in the garbage. Thanks to your video I'm now able to charge a battery that showed as DEFECTIVE on the charger prior to your trick. I've got a couple others I'll try this on. THANKS.

This is bloody amazing i've just try on one of my 10 year old batteries 24v ni-cd from a screwdriver/drill it went from 10.33v max charge to 25v right after the 1min flicking on/off, hats off, thank you so much :)

May be it will work, when turning on and off like that if there is an inductor in the charger it is not good for the charger, any way a manual variable dc power supply can fix the problem of the battery by manually charged it, and discharge it with an incandescent bulb. Nobody mentioned here the quality of the NICD and NIMH batteries where made in china without any quality control. Years ago NIcd batteries were in good quality.

This is an awesome trick! I was about to buy new set of drill as the battery price is almost the same but before doing so decided to check if it can be fixed and found this video, a 100% working trick that will definitely revive ni-cd battery. Companies will sue you to take their business away 😂

At first, the "charging" light would occasionally flicker as I continued flipping the on/off switch on the power strip. As soon as the "charging" light fully illuminated (approximately 2 minutes), I left the power strip on –– and after an hour or so, the battery pack fully charged. Thank you so much for posting this information!!! I'm delighted to be using my sabre saw, again.

That's a cool solution mate I usually just take the pack apart and charge it with my electronics power supply this save the hassle of breaking them down

Ive just shared your vid with my husband. He has makita batteries, ridiculously expensive, got 1 here in the battery box waiting 4 the tip run. It has cost him a fortune in replacements over the years. Shame we took 4 down at the end of last year, if it had worked with 1 it would have been monumental. 😂

With the information you’ve just shared, I think you might start a Ni-CD battery wombling campaign!

I told u I'd let u know so guess what? I clicked my old craftsman 19.2 volt on & off for 5 min & then left it on. It actually charged up & hadn't been used in a couple of years sitting in thy closet so my hats off to u mister👍🙂✌️. My ryobi battery didn't work doing this but I have other ones & maybe I'll take these apart sometime.
