After completing the recent lantern rite, it seems that xiao does indeed know that it is venti/Barbartos that saved him, and he actually listened to venti play just before that dinner. I feel like venti actively goes to dihua marsh to play music knowing that xiao will listen to him from the shadows cause xiao will feel too scared to personally ask an archon to play music for him🥺
