But why does the dragon appear in so many different cultures? Science and archaeology are starting to shed new light on the truth behind this mythological super-beast. The discovery of prehistoric dinosaur bones may have convinced our ancestors that these terrifying creatures really did exist. But why were some dragons believed to breathe fire and control the weather. The hunt for the truth behind the dragon myths reveals some of our deepest darkest fears.

They say the oldest image of a dragon is around 6k years old despite having artifacts that clearly depict them that are more than 12k years old. I don't put much faith in humans and their conclusions regardless of the data they've collected

As far as I'm concerned, Dragons really existed at some point in the past, why else would there be stories of them from all over the world, at about the same time, and since I believe in them, I don't think they are gone, but exist in a different dimension from this one

I think there was a Romanian dragon since I'm related to Vlad Tempest aka Count Dracula known as the Dragon his armor was made out of Dragon skin and Dinosaurs are a different kind of Dragon King's had to Slay the Dragon's 🐉👑 plus King Charles lll is my first cousin so was Prince Philip and his sons are my second cousin's since the Queen expelled the rest of her cousin's side of the family and was forced to move to America for New Land we was German Royalty the Saxe Coburg Un Gotha Royal House family and changed their name to Saxon and Windsor and our Gardiner family came to America and had to change their name and drop the ( i ) in the name became Gardner family in America some were Witches others became Christians and Templar and Viking mixed with the Native Americans Indians and pilgrims and Cowboys and for the stranger's were Extraterrestrials life forms and bigfoot and the Dogman Beast..

I felt that part of this made little sense. Any researcher should know that the Old Testament, whether the Septuagint version or the Masoretic text, talks about Leviathan and Behemoth, (and don't confuse what the Bible actually says with medieval illustrations or commentaries) and that the Bible equates Satan with a serpent or dragon. We don't need 11th century manuscripts to tell us this; that's Johnny-come-lately stuff. There are older manuscripts, and we can date when the books were actually composed. Plus, of course, we have much older artifacts and the fact of megalania. The Australians were still seeing megalania until maybe 40, 000 years ago. Who knows...maybe even more recently. I can't help but believe other dinosaur-like reptiles of different kinds survived, and these became embedded in cultures all over the world as "dragons."

Beast always guard treasure like the hairy man of the mountains aka bigfoot guards a cave and Snakes guards a temple in India with a dragon head on the door created by the Gods and can only be open with two men on both sides of the Door it has two square key holes and pull the inner ropes but without getting bit by the Snakes but once open could contain a Real live Dragon guarding the Treasure to be richer than anyone on the planet.... Science can't explain everything but, it has completely debunked Christianity and now Dragons. As if they really had to, so apparently some people believe in dragons and, some of them still believe in God.😂
