The only 4th of July horror story I can recall didn't even happen to me, but an acquaintance. A bunch of friends were having the typical cookout/gathering as twenty somethings do, this was several years back now. The guy in question had been going downhill mentally for awhile by that point, he brought over some serious fireworks. He was also shithoused on probably an entire 750ml of alcohol or more. Well long story short he blew off a couple of fingers and one of my actual friends had to rush him to the hospital while he was bleeding out. And I think a squirrel ran off with his finger, they could never find it. I'm glad I wasn't at that party...

As an aside, I've got one BDE guy in my neighborhood that puts on our own fireworks show every year. I'm talking professional grade mortars, the kind that the official fireworks displays use for every town's fireworks. And he goes for like 45m-1hr, it's impressive. I'm looking forward to it this year. Actually, there's another guy that does it on the opposite side on a different street as well, but it's not as easy to see those nor does he go quite as hard.

Story 2: If I were crashing a block party like that, you better believe I'm taking a road soda or two on the way out. Nice work. Now his behavior while there and when he came back, dunno bout that part. Really shady stuff, like who does that?

The second story is extremely creepy since its about a stranger crashing a party, asking around to see who owns the place, and deciding with that info to rob the man.

The two beers is likely why his method was to force himself inside and hide in the basement (until the cops came.)

Bro I’m already in the creepy mood. I was at the beach tonight w homies and found a giant 15x15 ft pentagram in the sand. Shit got me creeped out. It was so well detailed too, there were like giant ovals and swirls around it, and it was in the area with no houses or condos
