I’ve been in the travel industry over 25 years and not only is this one of the best and practical videos I’ve seen regarding what to have in your Personal Items bag, but I discovered new products I will be ordering this week! The best for me was the vest and for my husband will be the telescoping chopsticks! Thanks and I’m subscribing now for sure!

You are the “clown car” of travel. I mean that as a wonderful compliment. Your organization is on another level. I enjoyed this video very much 😊.

The tip about evacuation and the vest is genius xx

I stayed in a hotel suite with my family the other night, and all the little bits & bobs I carry came in so handy thanks to you! My family laughingly told me I was entitled to all the hotel amenities as a reward for being so prepared.

First video I’ve ever watched by you. I’m a little obsessed about packing videos. Yours is the best! So organized, great items, very impressive!

I almost never do comments, and I've never said this to anyone, but you are my hero.

She's the "Merlin•ette" of travel! I'm expecting the 52x60 throw, standard pillow, PJs, full size Shampoo/Conditioner, jeans/tees, formal wear, & heels. Wait—and a French press for one. Amazing!

I always have one or two pantyliners much easier to change one of those than to change your underwear in a plane’s toilet. I put one on before I leave home, then I can change halfway through a long journey. 0:23

You definitely take preparedness to the next level! I thought I did a pretty good job of organizing my personal item but you’ve shown several ways I can improve. I appreciate how you’ve provided links to everything. Your point about how a travel vest allows you to have all your really important things upon your person in case the plane is evacuated was something I hadn’t thought of before, so I’m going to invest in one.

Wow. I didn't think you could get any better....but you did. It would be funny if you sold these on Etsy--complete. Now I have to justify getting a new bag. Some women collect shoes, I collect bags. Thanks! ;-)

Hey Eunice, I hope you are doing great. Your videos are so helpful. I would have never thought of putting a luggage tag on my personal items bag. What a great idea! 👍🏼 I love how prepared you are for every scenerio. I get so MANY ideas from you ❤️ Thanks so much for always helping us out. Have a blessed day. 🙏🏼

Daiso Japan (and USA, if you’re lucky enough to live near one) is the bomb. I stock up on household things, omiyagi to bring home for friends, and there’s always some emergency items needed. Last trip, I had a suitcase I was worried about springing open, and needed a luggage strap. ¥1600 (USD $16) but at Daiso, a 2 pack for ¥100!
The water heater tip is a MUST! I just talked to a friend who got to her 4⭐️ hotel to find a pair of underwear soaking in the in-room kettle! I’ve never used the in-room kettle since! Also, the multi-tool with little scissors is my most used travel item. Great video!

Just recently discovered your channel and appreciate your great tips! I travel frequently and rarely carry a purse or bag, having seen up close skilled pickpockets at work. I always wear a vest on planes, trains, buses and usually while walking in my home city and elsewhere. Three reasons: vest pockets are signficantly hard for pickpockets to access; for peace of mind in the kind of evacuation you mentioned (excellent advice to give your viewers!); and in case of another kind of emergency, my small wallet, phone, contact info, meds, etc will be found by a companion, medical personnel or law enforcement. I have several vests of varying fabric, weight and warmth, but recommend those with zippered pockets or adding snaps or velcro to pockets without zippers. That adds another level of security should a pickpocket target me or to keep important items in place during a slide from a plane or climbing out of a stopped bus or train. Scarves with zip pockets can serve the same purpose when I'm not carrying multiple important items. Thanks again - I'm enjoying catching up on all your videos.

I absolutely love that you basically have a "bag of holding". It is so awesome. If you could, I look forward to seeing the video of that keychain. That would be an awesome addition to my world.

I have traveled short and long hauls for years! I've watched a ton of these types of videos and hands down, yours has been the best. I didn't think you could show my any tips I hadn't seen but you have. My hats off to you. I'll be watching your other vids.

So many cool hacks and gadgets here. I fly a lot, and use a lot of the same things you’ve cited here. A merino dress, and those little zip-top “baglets” are gold.
OTOH, I’m in the minority of not liking a lot of pockets in my bag because I can’t keep them straight 😝 A few clear plastic baggie-type things does better for me.
I’ve also learned that you usually get what you pay for. Having something break or become nonfunctional on a plane or trip is not fun—and the cheapest thing is not likely to last long.
But there’s gazillion gadgets and aids for travel, and it’s great to have you sift through the offerings.
So…new subscriber!
