Our food systems affect our lives in more ways than we realize. Part of making our engagement with this planet more conscious and more intentional is getting real about learning where our food comes from. “Made in *insert country here*” stickers tell us so little about the human faces, the livelihoods, and the communities that grow and cultivate food for the world’s masses.

So that’s what we’re here to do. In this clip from our pilot episode, Lindsey brings you along to California’s Central Valley, the world’s almond powerhouse, as she meets with growers and listens to their stories.

Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks!
