First of all, When Anna starts her video with "my dear elegant ladies" and not "hey you guys" it makes me WANT to watch the video, not like most other YouTubers! She sits elegantly in front of the camera, with no crazy hands all over the screen.
I much prefer to shop online! It's peaceful, no sales reps following you around. If I need help, I will ask kindly, but, please, leave me alone while I am shopping in-store.
In the winter I wear cashmere at home, cozy and warm, but I would like to see a video on how to look elegant at home. Thank you

Can you speak about building a casual but elegant style? For outings such as grocery shopping, cinema, hanging out with friends, going to fairs. I love blouses and button ups shirts in my tropical climate but I've been told that's for the "work place." I prefer pants to skirts as well so I wear dark wash jeans or trousers.

*People are surprised I don't like to "shop around" as an activity. I go in there like a SNIPER.* 🧐

With a specific Mission, Mandate, and Target.🕴

*Yes, it's serious business.*

I've bought most of my cashmere sweaters in the January sales . Every fall when I pull them out to wear I'm so glad I did

Your words are so true. In my younger professional life I had my colors done and paid for make up, clothing consult and shopping outing. I returned 80% of the items within the week but the key items lasted years. I also have always budgeted for a tailor and changing out buttons, repairing of shoes, switching out heels, bag repair. I still have a jacket and pair of shoes from that time 20+ years ago. Although the work wardrobe went to consignment when I left that career/country I kept the habits I learned. For my 50 birthday I had my make up habits updated. Always invest in yourself and shop alone.

One thing I love to do is thrift shopping !! I find lots of elegant pieces, some vintage, some from really high quality brands and they are way more sheep and thrifting is also good for the planet !!! Also, I am only 16, but I truly love your videos and I am really proud of your evolution🥰

That’s true Anna! I don’t like shopping with other people too! My friends thought that is weird...but I thought it is liberating and more efficient!

Investment dressing means that you put as much thought into each item as you do the next set of diamond earrings. Lol. I purchased a red cashmere wrap coat in midi length from Karl Lagerfeld that even after 10years that looks like new and still elicits compliments each time I wear it.

I'd love a video on what to wear at home.
And also how to be prepared if you get an unexpected visitor.
I like the idea about having an experimental section in out wardrobe.

The how to look expensive at home please, and how to look beautiful and glowing without makeup or with natural products that gives your skin a chance to heal. This is so so so important

This may be an unpopular opinion, but shopping from the sale rack at H&M did me wonders! Of course I always check the material and the cut of the garment, but being plus size means I get the gems of their 'business woman line' for cheap.
Again, the cut and material of the garment is very important, make sure the fabric is 'heavier' as in, its not flimsy or wrinkly.

I cannot express how much I love the fact that you kept repeating, repeating, repeating to only buy what you need, buy classic shapes, and buy as an investment to use for years to come. I probably counted this theme repeated about 10 times and it cannot be stressed enough. I was born dirt floor poor so shopping at Goodwill was where it was at for me. The first time I made an effort to mature my wardrobe I purchased a classic peacoat from Target on sale. It actually fit me (I'm petite) so despite the cost compared to Goodwill I snapped it up! 10 years later I have shed every single one of my Goodwill items and replaced them with second-hand Eddie Bauer or Niman Marcus or whatnot. Turns out even rich people donate their clothing and all of these items seem to land up at second-hand boutiques for higher-end fashions. My wardrobe had shrunk to about 10 shirts, 5 pants, 3 dresses, and assorted accessories but each and every single one of these items fits, looks great, and is my color palette. And, I still have that peacoat from Target. It's actually now the lowest-priced item in my closet despite lasting so long!
