Model-based Optimization of Axisymmetric Wave Motion in Buried Plastic Water Distribution Pipes

Video pitch of a model-based technique for estimation of soil parameters, bulk and shear moduli, to predict wave speed and the corresponding attenuation of a leak noise wave in buried plastic pipes. This study is helpful to determine fundamental limitations of acoustic correlators aiming an enhanced detection and location of a leak.
