This tripod makes the tradeoff of:
Stable
Inexpensive
But not light

The fluid head is quite good for the price - it won’t last forever or handle as heavy a camera, but it works.

You can buy additional quick release plates.

There are some professional videographers that work in the ocean who use this tripod because it is cheap enough that they can replace it when it fails (as opposed to paying a lot of money for a saltwater resistant tripod and spending time and money to maintain it)

What is the folded length? The Velbon website quotes 70cm, but I've seen on other sites that it's 57cm. I need to fit it in a Pelican case which is 69cm wide, so that's my maximum.
