Obviously housing for 4, 500 people are not going to happen instantly. Historically, natural disaster rebuilding is slow and at times non-existent. Hurricane Katrina, 2005...Fukushima Japan Tsunami, 2011...and Pahoa Lava Flow, 2021 are examples of thise who have MOVED ON to greener pastures. I moved - immigrated from my home state in Hawaii many years ago and have owned homes on all 3 coasts. Best thing i ever did. No regrets, only gratitude. And this was BEFORE internet, Google, Craigslist, etc. No leads, no contacts beforehand. Only faith.
