The best part in life is when you realize everyone is the main character in an epic story of their own which you have never seen before.

The dread goes away when you realize it doesn't matter what you think or believe, we are here regardless.

"Our brain is basically just winging it." Truer words have never been spoken.

Well, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one winging it at life...

“The world is noisy and we’re def to most of it” most accurate words I’m going to hear all day

An alien dissecting a human, but can't hear them screaming because they can't hear that range.

I don't see this as a reason to feel dread. I see it as a reason to appreciate what we do have and to maybe think about whether or not it's worth having more than we were meant to. Seriously, imagine having to process and differentiate all those different colors and sounds. You'd go insane.

The smell of freshly cut grass is the grass itself sending out a warning pheromone to other plants about what happened to them. So, it is technically screaming, just in it's own way

It’s really fun to just see a bunch of people and think about how they had a whole life and that everyone thinks they are their own main character. It’s fun to be out in perspectives

“Plants emit ultrasonic screams when being cut.” Vegans gonna contemplate life after hearing that one.

I already had all of my existential crises in my 20s. I’m immune these days.

For how little we can physically perceive we can really do amazing things.

Some folks work really hard to convince themselves that they don’t need empathy.
It’s not that you’re relating to life too much. It’s that you don’t relate to life enough.

My first real existential crisis was in theatre as a student nurse. I was watching a large abdominal surgery and could see the bowels moving while out of the patient. I sat there thinking "we're all just electrified meat. I'm electrified meat!". So, thanks for another one 😂

Mr. Dr. casually throwing out the fact that plants can literally "talk"

Honestly this is a really good thing. I’d rather not be able to sense everything, just like how I don’t need to know everything. Makes the world feel bigger and more full.

I once remembered an entire year that hadn't happened yet. This was when my memory was giving me trouble as I had a severe case of insomnia over a long period of time (was hospitalized for it but this was post hospitalization). I would forget things and remember them differently, forget everyday things (like the word "stove", my phone number, my name and even birthday-which I'm a twin so makes it extra bad) and in extreme cases would remember things that hadn't happened yet.
Our mind is a very strange place and it's never stopped amazing me. We are full of possibilities that we aren't understanding. This world is just our playground.
