The Seeds 1966 The Seeds

Показать описание
The Seeds is one of the bands from the past, whose name has been forgotten these days. It was founded in Hollywood, California by Sky Saxon and Jan Savage after the breakup of the Ameoba group in 1965. They were initially known for playing clubs in Los Angeles. One year later, they are recording their first album, which is our topic.
In general, they have not accomplished great things. But one of the successful and important bands at the origins of this business is The Seeds. They form an important link in the chain of Psychedelic Rock and Acid Rock with the 5 albums they recorded and released between 1966 and 1968.
While they became known in California with their first single, Can't Seem to Make You Mine, they shook the US Top 40 list with the second single from the album, Pushin' Too Hard. They tried hard to stand out during the years when the British Invasion was effective. Of course, they don't get the results of their efforts. Because the music they make by trying to get away from the popular understanding does not enable them to gain as much audience as it should. In the following period, they cannot make room for themselves due to the groups that emerge one after another.
