Chag Sameach! I just got back from Israel and I had never seen chametz burned in the streets before. I love the Pesach holiday. In my opinion, Israel only stops making and serving chametz; because, like many other aspects of living in Israel, the orthodox have a lot of influence. I personally think that HaShem cares more about how I treat someone else today rather than eating a piece of bread.
