I let the chickens in the garden yesterday also. They got out and I saw them heading into the garden and I watched them for a while. I need to pick some leafy greens.

Love the music selections on your videos! The chicken release was great! I like DE on plants and the downside is application after rains. Keep'em coming! :-)

Your chickens wait so patiently for you to let them out of their fence. Mine are divas and squawk your ear off.

great video. I smiled the whole time. I mean, sorry about the bugs - but the chickens refusing the beetle? hahaha...

You need to get ducks to eat the bugs in your garden, not chickens. Ducks will eat all the bugs without damaging your plants!

We have had pretty good luck with DE and also Neem Oil, only problem is constantly having to reapply after it rains.
Even the chicken didn't want the beetle 😂

I've heard that applying compost tea to the leaves of your vegetable plants can help control pest. Making compost tea from worm compost.

when you were putting the D.Earth on, I thought using a flour sifter would be a good option for a better application method.😁

You need pollinating insects on your squash to set fruit. If you use DE it will kill all bugs indiscriminately, so what will pollinate?

The chicken tractor is great for drying the garlic :o) After you clean them up -- if you are going to braid them -- you can hang a braid in the kitchen -- and take what you need without taking up space. I have seen some really talented people braid them into wreaths -- with dried herbs as accents -- and sold/gifted to friends to hang as a usable kitchen decoration.

love the video that was so funny when the chickens ran away and would not eat the bug 😂😂😂 I had a chicken that got out one day got in my garden and ate all my turnips I was so mad at that chicken so now I'm afraid to use my chickens in the garden. you keep teasing me with that table I'm pretty sure that table must have been your idea I've never seen one like it before so smart God bless and have a blessed weekend

Just what I needed...a great laugh! Those chickens aren't cooperating! Your garden has really taken off! I've heard great things about DE. You aren't supposed to breath it in. Have you researched sprays you can make yourself out of ingredients you already have. Like dish soap, hot peppers, caster oil and such. Your doing a fantastic job! Blessings...

The D. Earth also cuts up the bugs. If you look at it through a microscope it's made up of sharp jagged edges which helps to slice them up and kill them.
