This lesson covers classifying quadrilaterals. Students learn that a quadrilateral is a 4-sided polygon. Students also learn to classify a quadrilateral as a trapezoid (one pair of opposite sides parallel), a parallelogram (both pairs of opposite sides parallel), a rhombus (all sides congruent), a rectangle (4 right angles), or a square (all sides congruent and 4 right angles).
