Fiberglass filters changed every month for the win for maximum airflow and least amount of stress on the system.

Note that the more effective 3M Filtrete filters that are shown have more pleats and more filter media surface area than does the Ace "Clean Air" filter. You get what you pay for and while the Filtrete 2200 MPR filter may arrest more and smaller particulates than the others it also has a greater effective surface area to hold the particulates. Not the most eloquent presentation I've ever seen but he got some of it right.
