Older houses with 2 X 4 walls can't have insulation like a house with 2 x 6. Newer windows, weather stripping, state of the art HVAC are much more efficient.

What’s your thoughts on a new custom home builder getting started in Boise? I’m a 20 yr custom builder from Oregon coast who looking for a change. I know not all areas are easy to punch into so looking for some possible insight. Thank you, and great videos!!!

Is Hubble construction reliable. I’ve read many complaints on quality and follow up during warranty time.

Awesome video very informative. If we choose to buy a new construction home and hire a buyers agent realtor. Who’s going to pay the realtor the buyer or the seller?

Apparently, urban planning is not a thing in Boise. Or is it? Seems like sprawl to me.

Watch out and do not do business with Hale Excavation, also known as H2 Excavation, Rimrock Construction and Excavation. Our builder was great, contracted with this guy to do the excavation work for our house in Fruitland, Idaho. The first phase of excavation when great. But, when he needed to finish work around the outside area of the home site, he just disappeared! He would not return of answer our builder’s calls nor ours. Our builder had another job lined up for him, which Mr. Hale had agreed to do, but he just left the builder hanging! We made an even bigger mistake with this guy. He told us he needed money for a new skid steer. Thinking that we were friends, and we could help him, as well as us, to get future help around our acreage, we loaned him $4, 000 he needed to finish the purchase on the new machine. Soon after acquiring his new skid steer, he told us there was an accident and the machine had been wrecked. He told us he would pay us back after insurance had settled. Well, it’s been well over a year and Mr. Hale refuses to answer our calls, texts, or letters. This character is not to be trusted! He is a sorry excuse for a business owner and, sadly, a human being. Watch out and don’t do business with Mr. Hale or H2 Excavation!
