*Spolier* Knowing your style, I expected a very, very, very heart-wrenching ending. The fact that there wasn't one actually surprised me a lot. Overall, I loved the video, it's maybe my favorite animation of yours and quite possibly one of my favorite animations on Youtube in general. Fantastic job, as always <3

As a North Walian, this animation is a lot like an old legend we have of Gelert, the hound of Beddgelert and Llewellyn ab Iorwerth.

''In the 13th century Llewelyn, prince of North Wales, had a palace at Beddgelert. One day he went hunting without Gelert, ‘The Faithful Hound, ’ who was unaccountably absent. On Llewelyn’s return the truant, stained and smeared with blood, joyfully sprang to meet his master. The frantic father plunged his sword into the hound’s side, thinking it had killed his heir. The dog’s dying yell was answered by a child’s cry. I miss horror like this. I’m which it’s horror but has a happy ending at the end of it. Too many horrors these days want to go completely nihilistic and grim dark. I don’t mind those endings but it’s good to have a happy end again.

Now I know if it ever comes to pass that I find my dog tearing shit up in my house, it was because whatever it was was trying to kill me in my sleep and probably deserved it. Thanks for the insight, David. 👍
