Who knew Republicans were so polite. There's a lot of them saying "Pardon Me" 😠

Come at the king, best not miss. He didn't give his followers any cover while they were fighting for him, he watched on TV while one of them died and offered them nothing but confusion. He isn't a leader, he's a self-serving slug.

Plz do not forget that the entire Secret Service wiped ALL text messages from one of the most important days in American political history.

In 1915, the Supreme Court indeed said, of pardons, that “acceptance” carries “a confession of” guilt. Burdick v. United States (1915). Other courts have echoed that since.

Pardons are for sparing the truly penitent in special circumstances, not for shielding traitors from justice en masse.

Power of pardon should be removed from the POTUS and all governors. It goes against "no one is above the law."

As Trump failed to follow protocols and processes before issuing pardons, why isn’t DOJ looking to legally challenge the most outrageous of his pardons? Is there an effort to tighten the laws around pardons to ensure that a non-partisan, arms-length body does due diligence before any pardon may be issued? It’s always been assumed that the power would only be used in an ethical manner. Trump’s corruption and abuse of power has exposed the need for so many laws to be tightened.

No one ever accused Mark Meadows of being an intellectual powerhouse...but this sounds like prosecutable actions. Criminality must foul.

THE EXTREMELY SAD AND SHOCKING PART OF ALL ON THIS TRUMP MESS IS THE FACT THAT 74 MILLION AMERICANS STILL WANTED THIS GUY TO BE THEIR PRESIDENT FOR A SECOND TERM, WE ARE LIVING ON SLIPPERY SANDS. POOR MORAL VALUES AND VERY POOR EXPECTATIONS OF OUR SELF'S.

Trump needs to go to jail along with his secret service who are also guilty, they deserve prison time too!

The committee needs to do a massive dump of documents as fast as possible, really appreciate the work they have done, they just need to get the information out there, Rj in Oz

In light of all that has come out, nothing could make a stronger case for the impeachment and conviction of a president even more than that of Nixon. Its a sad commentary on partisanship, something that Founding Fathers of the nation feared the most.

I was under the impression that Kushner testified that he was busy working on the pardons, would like to hear about his involvement also what % of pardons he handed out were involved in the insurrection? Love to hear your thoughts. Interested from across the pond.

Somehow, Republicans can look at all this and not see any problem at all, while at the same time thinking that the 'Twitter Files' is a big deal.

Does that mean we can consider blanket Treason Trials for Donald Trump's insurrectionists ?

I would be opposed to the DOJ granting immunity to Mark Meadows as he is certainly in the top ten of the 2020 coup plotters. It will be informative to see how high up the DOJ will go with immunity for cooperating witnesses.
