Horse Covered In Foam?

Have you ever wondered why horses sometimes seem to foam? I mean you might have seen videos where they’re covered in white foam, especially after a ride, You see, Horses are one of the few animals that sweat to regulate their body temperature, and they’re second only to humans in how much they sweat, However, Their sweat contains a large amount of a protein called latherin, which helps spread it across their skin more easily. And when it meets air or friction, especially under the saddle, it can cause foam. But don’t worry, it’s completely normal for them.

It’s not normal, it only really happens if you over exercise the horse. It shouldn’t do this regularly
