I now understand the downfall of Bollywood movies. I have attained Punjabi saturation in Bollywood movies. No hate to Punjabi people, Punjabi language. I am tired of watching Punjabi songs, Punjabi families, and Punjabi characters in every other Bollywood movie. No creativity to explore the huge Hindi belt with 100s of languages and dialects.

It's upsetting that a talented, non-conventional actress like Tripti Dimri is getting recognition not from Qala, Bulbul or Laila Majnu but from Animal or Bad Newz. Did we fail as audience?

Hippocrates audience saying should not promote cheating, its not our culture blah blah but when animal movie was released every single person including all male youtube reviewers hyped the movie and justifying the character and saying women are overreacting watch it as a movie dont overthink and now when tables have turned men became so sensitive started judging the characters and its hurting their sentiments. Just a hypocrite's behaviour.

So this is just another 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' where a fairly serious subject matter is dealt with great superficiality, levity, jokes, gags and comedy.
I actually enjoyed TBMAUJ.. so I guess I'll like this one too.. but as you said, these films just leave us with wanting for more. Something more deep and nuanced.

The Salman Khan-Amir Khan joking about Sholay written by Salman's father in 'Andaaz apna apna' or Anil Kapoor-Govinda conversation joking about each other's filmography is what meta- referance and breaking fourth wall jokes should be.

Bad newz is just cringe, forced, irritating and obnoxious.

2:55 Bollywood feels by doing lame jokes like TikTok, PUBG, they show deshbakthi and by doing fake forced pro feminist scene like in fighter where Hrithik lectures the dad, or full fledged fake feminist movie like this or veerey di…they are awesome and should be applauded. Their half baked knowledge of anything and entertainment of praise, is what makes their end product super cringe.
