In the last day of the Microsoft vs FTC court case, financial leaders took to the stand to highlight the position that Xbox stands within the gaming market and how small Minecraft is on the Xbox.

Also, Microsoft can grow GamePass by keeping CoD on PS by simply adding CoD to GamePass on release day.

Microsoft lawyers and witnesses pretty much kicked the FTC's arse all over the place for the past four days in a row. I actually felt embarrassed for the FTC at times - why the hell would they go to court with such a pathetically weak case? Just a waste of tax payers money and all it accomplished was making them look weak and clueless.

Being a PC player, I keep out of the 'console wars.' But at least Xbox will bring games to the PC. Playstation only bring games to PC - Reluctantly! FF16 is a perfect example - that game would have looked beautiful on PC.
Also, Sony and the FTC clearly are in bed together!

My son has a switch and he wanted it to play Minecraft which led to Fortnite and now that he's older it's all about the fps and better graphics, in which I just got him an Xbox X over a PC due to cost. Xbox is amazing supporting 1440P monitor with keyboard and mouse for games @ 120hz, it was far cheaper than most GPUs alone that could equal it on performance. I hope Microsoft wins this case, I'm all in for game pass across PC and Xbox and any other platform it goes on!!

I thought it looked pretty bad when the judge had to tell the FTC attorney to stop talking about how Sony will be harmed and start talking about how consumers will be harmed. When the FTC is arguing so hard on behalf of Sony that the judge have to intervene, then that tells me that the FTC isn’t concerned about gamers. If she can only argue on behalf of Sony rather than consumers, then she doesn’t have a case.

It’s not about one winning or another. It was about giving the judge a concern on one of three theories of harm. That’s all they had to imply. If it’s a question mark she can’t rule on an ok

Im just explaining all the ftc had to do was give a unknown to any markets being harmed to consumers…. That’s the ruling. Not what is fair or right or who won or who did better. All the need is one theory of harm and she would have to say they can’t close and have to go to trial if they so choose

So does that mean if Microsoft gets to own activision and decide to continue any franchise under activision they have to release it on Sony platforms because some franchise been on Sony before? Like elder scrolls 6 for example it has to be on Sony because Skyrim has been released on Sony
