Still my favorite ballet movie. IMO, Leslie Browne was the best American ballerina of her generation

Splendid, sublime. This film is worth seeing for the dance sequences alone - unfortunately there’s not much else to recommend it.

Gelsey Kirkland was initially cast in this role. In an effort to be fired, she sabotaged herself by losing so much weight (from her already tiny frame) that the filmmakers refused to use her as she looked so skeletal.

Noches de Sol un drama un recomendado con excelentes interpretaciones de danza contemporánea
