This might seem twee, but this game has made me so happy. I am a game developer, and I am more and more jaded with the industry, feeling like it's stagnant and there's nothing new anymore, even in indies. But I find this game really innovative and has helped me see there's still a lot that can be done.

It seems critical to swap out your unit producing buildings as soon as they're full. I guess under the king that doesn't have the ability to move buildings, you'd lose more efficiency there, but presumably you'd group your unit producers and move away from them when they're full to get the resources to rebuild...

Tried this game out after watching, must have been a very recent change but now moving your buildings reduces your production speed for like 10 seconds after, so you can’t freely hot swap buildings anymore

If you switch to the Military buildings when attacked you get double your fighting force by reproducing while they fight :)

Having your military always at max on wave start also probably helps

When you got the wine artifact pls get rid of all the wells. They are free to build!

It might be better to move where the king is looking instead of moving buildings.

I definitely feel like the squids would be min/max-able since they got up to 6 when you capped at troops. Just stop 1 troop crom max before waves so you can spawn them more consistently

That reading skill at times, more efficient brick factory - more max hp but nothing about production although it does seem some text are missing or could be improved.

One of the 25% production upgrades seemed to be for the dragon even though it didn't specify.
