To be honest. I think they should keep Fuschia exclusively to Samsung & Google phones, just to keep things simple and more cohesive.

Samsung had their own software at the beginning of smartphones that was much more optimized and stable than Android, but failed because it didn't have an app market or compatibility. This will also fail unless it's adopted by everyone and has backwards compatibility with old android .apks

Fuschia OS could be the future moving forward especially since breaking away from Android could also end Microsoft's constant hand in Google's cookie jar but only time would tell though Samsung could learn from past mistakes and create the Galaxy OS or something.

Samsung is doing really great overall.

Macking chips for SNPD, APPLE, GOOGLE and also Exynos and now also NVidia's GPU Chips.
Making mobile phone displays for own as well as APPLE, GOOGLE, XIAOMI, etc.
Partnered with Microsoft for connected features like Apple Ecosystem.
Partnered with Google for WearOS and now FuchiaOS.
Partnered with AMD for mobile GPU.

and at the same time making OP level hardware for phones and also have improved their design a lot.

apart from that their Display tech like MicroLED, QOLED and The Wall.

and also the foldables.

and the list just goes on and on and on.

Samsung just need to make the other own OS. Cause android wouldn't of survived financially if it wasn't for the sales of Samsung in the early days. While other Android manufacturers was struggling to sell a million units, Samsung was selling 20-40m s flagship phones

If this happens, my opinion, Samsung may lose a lot of fans. I say this because most apps (games, social media), cars, tv, etc, either works with Apple OS or Android. Like my car, I use Android Auto all the time. How will all of the mentioned above work with the new Samsung OS?

SAMSUNG IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN GOOGLE.
Samsung is the one brining, innovating new things in android, like split screen, swipe down notification n many others. Not only that samsung cooperates with app developers like microsoft, games developers etc to make android experience better, which should be the job of google . Which is why android tablet sucks but samsung tablets are best due to features like DeX
