This really doesn’t need to be this complicated. They put so many barriers around actually being able to easily do what you want

A funny thing happened when i was doing this in Superstar mode. I was playing AJ and for months I thought I still had the MITB breifcase. Since I skip entrances I just assumed I did. Until one time I didn't skip the entrance and saw he had the Universal Championship. I was on Raw and I found out that the MITB target was on the universal champion. This meant that AJ styles showed up Smackdown, became universal champ and then left smackdown not knowing he was champion.

I tried it and it worked. Match cannot be a rivalry and no one can have a manager. When the ref says "3" in the final pin, start mashing the heavy attack button. Worked for me.

For me spamming the a button did work for post match..but what upsets me is you don't automatically control the mib holder and when you switch too them you loose all your point you won in match😒

I did it exactly as you said and my mr. Money in the bank, Elias, came out with the briefcase in the middle of the match and then left. I look in the championships and mitb page and he doesn’t have the briefcase anymore 😂

For any new Comers what I did was make it a 1v1 no manager the. I made sure that someone actually had the MITB briefcase and started the match. And it worked fine for me. (Not too different from 2K20)

In exhibition or “play” outside of universe mode it’s random. I did a match of reigns vs edge but no cash in. Then I did one with asuka vs Charolette and Carmella cashed in at the end of the match. I didn’t adjust any settings

If u tryna do this on reigns make sure u get rid of usos can’t cash in with any managers at the ring unfortunately

To cash in all you have to do is be in a match with the champ and pause and it should say cash in and just press that

How do you set the universe mode rematch rivalry? I never get the option and sometimes the new champ or previous champ disappears which kinda pisses me off when tryna do stories

Are you able to control the mitb holder in any scenario? Like in this case, if you don't choose to control Roman or John at the start, let the CPUs fight for a while then cash in, does it let you control Big E?

Yes you can do it in PPV, i did it. Also, you can cash in after a defeat or victory of the champ : when the champ or the opponent win, you spam X button (we cant see him idk why) and Mister MITB going to cash in, 1vs1. 👌
