in the second question i would have just put a diagonal line on the equality symbol to get 5+5+5 (is not equal to) 550

You can also use that slant line on the equals to symbol to make it unequal. It means 5+5+5 not equals to 550.

INTERVIEWER:- Tell me one thing which makes you separate from the world . Tell us one thing which you and only you can do in this world??
MAN :- I can lay on the railway track while train is coming
INTERVIEWER :- It is not a big deal some people already perform stunt, tell us one thing which you can do in the entire world
MAN :- Man replies, Sir while the aeroplane is flying at 45000ft i can open the door and smoke a cig
INTERVIEWER :- This is impossible
MAN :- Not for me i can do it
INTERVIEWER :- How in the world can we believe this, show us
MAN :- First you fly the aeroplane at 45000ft then i will show you
INTERVIEWER :- They were very impressed and at end he was selected

These questions are not IQ questions these are Emotional questions and any answer to these question is correct. IQ is esteremely fast thinking and converging onto one solution. It is extremely fast pattern recognition.

for the 2nd question.. the line the aspirant drew wasn't straight... if he/she really wanted to get it right though ..it could simply be done using the "/" (the not equal to sign) ... as simple as it is.. if at all he/she had to draw a slant line

answer is all about different perception.it may or may not be possible to give answer according to the perception of interviewer.so its all about luck then if u hit what they want to hear

In second que. he could use straight line for crossing the equality sign ≠ to make eq. correct .

for 2nd question....if I put the slanted line on '=' than it would become 5+5+5 not equal to 550

For the second question, u can even make 5+5+5 not equal to 550 by cutting a line on "=".

In the second question we cal also draw a tilted line of equal to sign to. Make it not equal to.
