What an extraordinary day !!! My friend and neighbor and I just purchased a Norwood LM30V2 mill. We're going to have a great time together dreaming and building things. And who knows, this alliance will perhaps lead us to develop an interesting business partnership. Thanks Norwood!

I've got my lm30 running now and I love it. I had a couple minor issues and Trevor helped me through them no problem.
I have had issues but they were my fault.
1. When they recommend trying to get straight logs with little taper, it's good advice. Yes, you can still cut inferior logs but it will work you extra for not many boards
2. When you are bringing your mill back to the starting side, watch out for knots sticking up
3. If your blade dive's, it's most likely dull
4. On my mill, I really need a log at least 100". Anything shorter won't reach between the log stops. Be sure to cut your logs long enough. I cut a bunch too short and have had to cull them from my "to cut" pile. I tried to work out a solution but it was a whole bunch extra work for not much output.
5. I hit my log clamp (barely), over reacted, pulled back too hard and I thought I had broken the blade. Nope, it came off so I put it back on, checked tracking, fixed the log clamp and was back milling. Needless to say, I was impressed that the mill went through this and didn't mess up.
I bought a competitor mill earlier this year and carried it back to the dealer. This one is designed SOOO much better.
I can tell you the guy that designed the lift and the band wheel tracking on this mill is a mechanical genius. Tracking is super easy and lifting that heavy saw head is a breeze. My 5 year old grandson can turn the lift on my mill.
The only thing I need to do better that I know of right now is do a better job prepping and selecting my logs.
I'm sure there are other great mills out there, but this one is working great for me.

From the time I first ordered my LM29v2 and until I got the all the parts (still waiting for the Ceramic guides) I've read a lot of negative comments on here regarding Norwood's Performance. I have to be honest and say I have not encountered any of that, Some parts were back ordered, but they did arrive. When I started putting it together, I ran into a couple of uncertainties, I called Norwood a couple of times and never had to wait anymore than 10 minutes max for them to answer, that was really good, considering you call any government agency and you're on hold for hours.
Going to have a few more questions though, when I put the Roller toe boards on the bunks, the Rapid dogging and the new style dogging, which bunks does all this go on ? When I get to that point of the assembly, I'm sure they'll have the correct answer for me.

This is a bit long winded, however, during the Covid-19 times, everyone appeared to be very Negative towards Norwood. I can't speak for what anyone else encountered, but as for my dealings with the Norwood people, they acted professional in every way. One young lady in particular {Stephanie Maltis} whom I've dealt with several times was extreme professional. Spoke with Trevor a couple of times, again, very professional. Thank you Norwood, keep up the good work.

I got notification by e-mail from Norwood. My LM30 has been shipped, I've been told the trailer Jacks are on back order, I don't know why when you pay up front for something, you only get part of the order, I hope the two year Warranty starts only after all the Parts arrive. I hear some folks have gotten round Jacks to fit into a square hole on the trailer, If that's what I get, the full load will be put back on the truck and sent back. I've asked them to send me the Side wind operated Jacks as opposed to the top wind Jacks, they said they would.
