IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING - Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022 Details, Starfield Gameplay Reveal, & MORE!

Xbox is keeping with tradition even if E3 isn't around to maintain it. It has been officially confirmed that June 12 at 10 AM PT, we will see what is next for Xbox. If the art is anything to go by, Starfield will be a huge focus of the show, but beyond that there are leaks worth monitoring. Hopefully, this show marks the beginning of a new era for Xbox games.

- Fable teaser and maybe gameplay and if we are lucky release window
- 20-30 gamepass reveals
- Sea of theives update
- Grounded update
- Halo update (hopefully)
- Forza 5 update
- Suprise game announcements (e.g. next wolfenstein, gears, doom/quake)

Since E3 always overlapped on my bday I was sad it was canceled this year, but then this happened and now it's like a birthday present for me.

Hoping to learn a lot more about starfield from this event. I love almost every Bethesda title (not 76 lol) and want this next one to be great. Really hope it returns to the voiceless protagonists of the old bgs games and focuses a lot more on your characters personal impact and story choices.

as much as I would love to see them confirm a sequel to Fallout: New Vegas (Fallout New California!?!)... i'm okay with them holding off on that too. MS/Xbox gets a lot of criticism for announcing games too early and lets be honest, a sequel to F:NV isn't something were gonna see release for several years.

i'd be happier if they gave us gameplay looks at some of the games they've announced previously (Fable, Avowed, Contraband, Ark II, Redfall, Starfield, etc) and also... pull-back the curtain on some of these unannounced projects. (Project Shaolin, Midnight, Cobalt, etc.) Hell, even if some of those new announcements are CGI/Concept trailers, it would still give us an idea what theme these games are being built around.

And with all that, they should have plenty for a good, 90 minute show. Its exciting and lets hope the leaks don't ruin the surprise before June 12th.

My guess is they haven't discussed length and what's in their showcase yet because it's simply not finished. When they posted about the 2021 showcase, the Xbox post was on May 26th, two weeks prior to their showcase. This time, they're announcing it more than a month in advance. I imagine we'll get more clarification in a few weeks time, so I'm not too worried; they're probably adding the finishing touches to their showcase.

They should definitely lay all their cards on the table this year. When they acquire Activision Blizzard, they will have a very steady stream and can be a bit secretive about it. They need to make a statement to the gaming community as a whole.
