When I was married we owned a brand new 1998 Skyline single wide. For 5 years had one problem with kitchen floor from it being moved and they fixed it right away. I miss my mobile home. Plus, I don't see anymore layouts like the one I had it was homey.

Is it possible to install rockwool insulation instead of fiberglass? More fire and water resistant.

Are there any issues with insurance or certification of occupation if the house is on or off the frame when put on slab or foundation to make it real estate?
Are sheetrock or drywall options or are they the same?

I own a manufactured home and the construction is horrible it pisses me off to no end kazillion of Staples it's ridiculous and that's a fact !

2:14 Ultra-thin fake-wood flooring? Drop something heavy on it, or something hot, and you have a hole instead of a ding that can be sanded out on wood.
14:52 Worker assembling "real wood" cabinets from particle board. Yeah, sawdust is made from wood, but it's a stretch. I'd prefer actual plywood, or even PVC over glued together sawdust.

I was looking at an existing 2001 model but these two things have turned me off to these homes completely.
