Mathematically, the most efficient boarding method is people going on in random order. GCP Grey did a video on it.

The problem that I see with this method is that it has the likely potential of breaking families up at the gate and making individual members of given families board at different times based upon the position of their seat within a given row. For parents understandably hyper-concerned about the safety of their children in large public spaces surrounded by strangers like an airport whenever they have to be parted from them, this is definitely not a workable solution

This isn’t even a new thing. United used this same boarding method on their Shuttle by United/United Shuttle flights back in the 90s

First fiind the root cause of the delay. I see tons of people are slow, they stand in the asile to lift their carryon to the over head cabinets. Alao many are over sized.

Solutions: enforce size requirements. Then have staff help people lift the carryon. And have staff to tell people to step into the rows, and not block the aisle

Make everyone watch a pre-load movie like they do at laser tag. Tell people how to put the bags in correctly and how to embark. Then show another one about disemarking.
