TRIP REPORT | Emirates: Still the Best in 2024? | Dubai to Vienna | EMIRATES Boeing 777-300ER

Emirates Trip Report flying from Dubai to Vienna in one of the Emirates Boeing 777 on a lovely afternoon over the United Arab Emirates and all the way to Vienna.
An extremely comfortable flight from Dubai to Vienna onboard the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER. The flight was almost empty, with just 100 passengers, which equals around 30-35% of the maximum capacity of this plane. Of course, we managed to get a full for us which made this flight a perfect one.
After a very short taxi in Dubai we took off from runway 24R, that means, towards the Persian Gulf. With that small amount of passengers, the plane climbed like a rocket, but still, we were able to see Dubai old town, which is located to the north of the airport.
There 2 routes for this flight: over Iraq and Türkiye, which is the most spectacular one, or over Saudi Arabia and the Mediterranean Sea; luckily, we followed the first one. We flew all the way up over the Gulf until reaching Kuwait. From there we entered Iraq and crossed it completely, flying towards Türkiye.
As soon as we entered the Turkish airspace we made a left turn and flew in direct course to Varna, in Bulgaria. From there Bucharest, Budapest, and, finally, Vienna, where we landed a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time of arrival.
About the onboard service, today's flight was on a refurbished Boeing 777, which means that the seats were new seats and ceiling. The new screens look fantastic, definitely something Emirates had to do. Better late than never :)
The meal service... well, we all know that Emirates is on the very top and today's flight wasn't gonna be different. Everything was delicious, as always. On this flight, together with the one I flew to Dubai, I appreciated that Emirates has renewed as well part of the onboard menus. New plates and new desserts, all of them as delicious as always, or even more, if that's possible.
