1) How many final-year tertiary students have a Passport?
2) Who is paying the VISA application fees and how long will it take to process the VISA (National Service lasts for 12 months); VISA waiting time for most VISA categories is about 6-9 months; Will selected personnel be working or be given NS allowances while they wait?
3) Who is going to pay air ticket?

4) In the USA, we pay rent per month (>$600 per person in a shared apartment: 2 bedroom self-contained house), how many NS personnel will be available to pay that amount? (Don't tell me you can be doing cleaning or washing jobs to pay because you may not have a driver's license, car, or the money to go to such places to work; it is strictly illegal to work without employment authorization and perhaps if you have it, it is job specific). How are you going to feed yourself?
5) Don't say the job/place you will be posted to will maintain you after the service. You are not a USA citizen or National. Perhaps, my first time in the USA was to get practical training for 4 weeks through a USAID-funded program as an Exchange Visitor. It was a strict policy for me to come back to GH to serve GH for 2 years before I could reenter the US. The United States will not allow you to enter if you don't have the financial capability, the intention of coming back home, GH, and your purpose of going to the US should be of interest to the USA (prove during VISA interview).

6) After your service in the USA and you are brought back to GH, are there institutions to absorb personnel to utilize any training acquired after this "International Slavery Policy"?
7) Why are so many Nigerians leaving their country? And will the NSS be responsible if any posted personnel is kidnapped?
8) Has NSS paid rotational nurses and midwives who just completed their national service?
