Η Ανίτα Ρατσβελισβίλι στη Ρωμαϊκή Αγορά
Το μοναδικό ρεσιτάλ της κορυφαίας μεσοφώνου, σε μουσική διεύθυνση Λουκά Καρυτινού έρχεται στην GNO TV από τις 28 Μαρτίου έως τις 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2023

Με αφορμή την επιστροφή της Ανίτας Ρατσβελισβίλι στην Ελλάδα για το πολυαναμενόμενο ντεμπούτο της τον ρόλο της Σαρλότ στον Βέρθερο του Μασνέ (έως 4/4 στην Αίθουσα Σταύρος Νιάρχος), η Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή ανεβάζει για πρώτη φορά στην GNO TV το μοναδικό ρεσιτάλ που έδωσε η κορυφαία μεσόφωνος της εποχής μας στη Ρωμαϊκή Αγορά τον Ιούλιο του 2020.

Για τους κατόχους των εισιτηρίων του Βέρθερου, η παρακολούθηση του ρεσιτάλ στην GNO TV θα είναι δωρεάν, ενώ για το υπόλοιπο κοινό η τιμή του εισιτηρίου για την GNO TV είναι 5 ευρώ.

H GNO TV, η οποία αποτελεί έναν νέο άξονα προγραμματισμού της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής, δημιουργήθηκε και λειτουργεί με τη στήριξη της δωρεάς του Ιδρύματος Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΙΣΝ) [www.SNF.org] για την ενίσχυση της καλλιτεχνικής εξωστρέφειας της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής.

Στον μαγικό αρχαιολογικό χώρο της Ρωμαϊκής Αγοράς στη σκιά της Ακρόπολης, η Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή παρουσίασε στις 18 Ιουλίου 2020 στην ένα ρεσιτάλ με την κορυφαία μεσόφωνο της εποχής μας Ανίτα Ρατσβελισβίλι, σε μουσική διεύθυνση Λουκά Καρυτινού και με τη συμμετοχή της Ορχήστρας της ΕΛΣ. Το ρεσιτάλ αποτέλεσε τη μεγάλη πρεμιέρα του θεσμού του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού «Όλη η Ελλάδα, ένας Πολιτισμός».

Η Ανίτα Ρατσβελισβίλι, στο πλαίσιο της στενής συνεργασίας της με την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή, αποδέχθηκε με χαρά την πρόταση του Καλλιτεχνικού Διευθυντή της ΕΛΣ Γιώργου Κουμεντάκη να συμμετέχει αφιλοκερδώς. Την Ορχήστρα της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής διηύθυνε, επίσης αφιλοκερδώς, ο Λουκάς Καρυτινός και το πρόγραμμα της συναυλίας περιλάμβανε δημοφιλείς άριες από όπερες των Βέρντι, Τσιλέα, Γκουνό, Σαιν-Σανς, Μπιζέ.

Οι θεατές της ΕΛΣ που έχουν αγοράσει ή πρόκειται να αγοράσουν εισιτήρια για τον Βέρθερο θα λάβουν στο email τους κωδικούς για τη δωρεάν παρακολούθηση του ρεσιτάλ στην GNO TV.

Anita Rachvelishvili at the Roman Agora
A singular recital given by the great mezzo-soprano and conducted by Lukas Karytinos is streaming on GNO TV from 28 March to 31 December 2023

On the occasion of Anita Rachvelishvili’s return to Greece, to make her highly anticipated debut in the role of Charlotte in Massenet’s Werther (until 4/4 inside the Stavros Niarchos Hall), the Greek National Opera is streaming a singular recital given by the greatest mezzo-soprano of our times at the Roman Agora in Athens in July 2020 – made available on GNO TV for the first time.

Werther production ticket holders can screen this recital for free on GNO TV. Others can purchase a GNO TV ticket for 5 euros.

GNO TV is a new strand of Greek National Opera’s programming, made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) [www.SNF.org] to enhance the Greek National Opera’s artistic outreach.

On 18 July 2020, at the spellbinding archaeological site of the Roman Agora set directly under the Athenian Acropolis, the Greek National Opera presented a recital given by the great mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili, conducted by Lukas Karytinos and with the participation of the GNO Orchestra. The recital served as the grand opening night of “All of Greece, One Culture” – a Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports initiative.

As part of the close partnership she has forged with the Greek National Opera, Anita Rachvelishvili was delighted to accept the invitation extended to her by the Artistic Director of the GNO, Giorgos Koumendakis, to appear in the recital, and to waive her fee. The Orchestra of the Greek National Opera was conducted by Lukas Karytinos, who also waived his fee, and the concert programme included popular arias drawn from operas by Verdi, Cilea, Gounod, Saint-Saëns, and Bizet.

GNO audiences who have bought or go on to buy tickets for our production of Werther will receive an email containing an access code allowing them to screen the recital for free on GNO TV.
