Let's find out why Zero is NOT an Odd number:

Any integer ‘n’ is considered an Odd number if ‘n+1’ results in an Even number. Zero does not fulfil this condition since ‘0+1=1’; & 1 is an Odd number. Hence Zero is NOT an Odd number.

Well, in simple words, we can put it like this -
Within the set of all the Integers, an Odd number has to be followed by an Even number. But Zero is followed by One, which is an Odd number. Hence, Zero can not be an Odd number.

A number is odd if when making pairs, 1 is left out.
For e.g. - 7 ; We can take out 3 pairs (6) but 1 is left. So, its odd.
I think 0 is not odd because if we take out 0 pairs out of it, 1 is not left.

Zero in not a number, not in the simple meaning of the term "number".
When you want yo count oranges on the table, you count one orange, two oranges, three oranges.
You never point your finger to the empty place near the first orange and say: zero oranges!
You not counting 0...1...2...3...
Yes?
So what is zero?
It is a "place" at the middle of the number line.
Between the positive numbers and the negetive numbers.
Just a place which nothing inside it. The fact that zero is on this line of numbers, mislead us to think it is a number.
You can ask is 34 is odd or even?
You can ask is 19 is even?
But, in fact, there is no real question like is zero is even.
Its like asking: the number 42 is it RED or YELLOW?
That's why we can only DEFINE zero as an even number, just for calculations, but it is really not even, not odd, not a number.
Just an empty point, vacuum place on the numbers line.
Its ok to consider it as even number, not a mathematical mistake, just a philosophical mistake...

You used wrong classification in the video to check if 0 is even. With that 0 can be classified as odd number also, as it is divisible by every odd number and multiple of every odd number.

Classification to know whether 0 is even/odd:
Axiom: A number n is either of form 2m (Even) or 2m+1 (Odd)
(Known proof by Euclid's Division Lemma)
Taking n = 0, we get
If: 2m = n
=> 2m = 0
=> m = 0/2 = 0 (integer)
So, 0 is an Even number
If: 2m + 1 = n
=> 2m + 1 = 0
=> 2m = -1
=> m = -1/2 = - 0.5 (not integer)
So, 0 is not odd.

Difference between consecutive even numbers is 2 . Thus if we subtract 2 from 2 we will get an another even no that is zero
