#3 is a bad advice if you can afford healthy food

One more important thing from a guy who watched his rich friend pass, and family spend the money he saved: Don't forget what you're saving up for...

For #3, you will financially pay in the end when terrible cheap food makes you sicker in the long run and thus raise medical expenses. Getting quality organic food and cooking it yourself is, in the end, the likely cheaper option.

No drugs or alcohol, buy cheapest food, drive beater cars, never buy new tech, never upgrade your home.. Why would a dude who clearly "hates spending money" dedicate his entire life to MAKING more? !? 🤔

I am constantly amazed at how people canonize this man. He lives in a boring house, in a boring city, drives a boring car, wears the same clothes & style that he had 60 years ago, lives frugally and goes to work at the same boring office every day at 90 years old and he has a giant pile of money. BFD. Making money for the sole reason to make & have money is, in my estimation, not a noble nor interesting life. While I don’t get the point, I do respect that he is living a life that to me is boring yet he finds interesting and makes him happy.

Very simple, if you do not need something then put it down and walk away... Less in life is really more. I did not understand this until I really began living and leading the life I am today... New joys even came about from minimalism and frugality...

1) Don’t needlessly upgrade your home 2) Avoid taking loans. 3) If you get takeout, make it cheap. 4) Buy used or cheap cars. 5) Avoid brand name items 6) Don’t invest with borrowed money 7) Get a job you love, instead of one that pays well 8) Avoid spending on things you don’t need 9) Use more cash 10) Clip coupons 11) Don’t smoke or drink 12) Look for sales. 13) Avoid gambling 14) Don’t upgrade unless you need to 15) Ditch the expensive wedding

Some good advice here. Comments on #3 - doesn't sound like he is saying to live on cheap meals, it said if you get a take out. I love #7 I think its so true to love your job and we think its easier to work in a job cause of the money but underneath its negatively affecting all parts of our wellbeing.

Good advice, but also remember you can't take it with you so enjoy your time on this earth while you can.

How about for #3: Prepare your own food at home. Stay away from processed foods, junk snacks, sugar and meat. Eat healthy so you’ll have lower medical expenses.

The McDonald's thing is what we did the other day, got £20 worth of food for £10, used the app to get discounts and then a monopoly coupon gave a extra discount lol 😊 always use the app

So ok if you have the money like he does and you don't upgrade your house, your car, your clothes. Then just having money to simply re-invest is the true waste of money.
