Tensions escalate as China expands military exercises

Tensions in the Indo-Pacific region have escalated after China announced an expansion of its military drills.

Beijing announced additional "live-fire" exercises in the Bohai and Yellow seas in a continued response to US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.

China was never able to encircled the Island of Taiwan prior to this..1995 or 1996 was nowhere near how close Chinese warships and planes operate ..some within 12 mile of the island shoreline . Never was there previouly a overflight of live warheads over the island to the Eastern Board to ensure no interference from the East...and live fire zones totally surrounding the island and forcing the detour of ships and planes into Taiwan.
The military balance has structurally change the last 25 years and if the same shift continues, US will be hard press just to maintain Guam ..
