In Search Of The Teletubbies Filming Set 2001

Here is the abandoned TV series filming set of the Teletubbies in 2001. Sadly filmed In low quality the set had just been dug up and the diggers were still their. We found the windmill laying neglected by a hedge and we cheekily tried to fit it in the boot of the car but it was that big it didn't fit. Theirs also rare footage of the Ragdoll Productions and shop in Stratford Upon Avon.

This footage is amazing so much nostalgia seeing the teletubbies set before the props were demolished shame you couldn’t take the windmill with you! Brilliant upload thank you 😊

Wow... I miss the Teletubbies sometimes. This is a really good find! Yet, heartbreaking to see remains of a show that entered many childhoods, mine included.

All the probs should’ve been kept in a museum for people to look at. Allot of people would be interested in seeing this history of their childhood.

I think that's a metaphor for the world. What once was joyful is now forgotten. What was inocent and beautiful is now a wasteland.

The main reason why they took the set down because the people were trespassing on the set as a result the production company agreed with the farmers to restore the set back to nature by putting a pond in the exact spot where the house was

I wish I could have the windmill from teletubbies. Watching it spin and watching sent in videos and magic moments would brighten my day everytime as a kid growing up. My favorite was the dancing bear and the 3 ships magic moments.

A friend of mine worked for Ragdoll. I bumped into her one day as she pushed 'Brum' through the streets of Stratford-upon-Avon. Slightly surreal.

This is very interesting to see! I seem to remember years ago you left a comment on a video of the set in 2012 glad you found the footage!

The fact that Brum was there at the ending of the video! Literally like my starter pokemon of my childhood family and still will be to this day! Along with the Teletubbies!

It's really amazing that you managed to visit this place during the destruction and discover some gems, such as abandoned props. It's really a pity that you couldn't take the windmill or other things. The footage of the destruction of it is a really cool thing, especially since there aren't really any films from that period here at all. I am very interested in this place because I love fields, let alone those associated with the production of a famous series + the weather is totally my vibe there! I plan to visit this place soon. Regards!

Oh my god.... So you were the one who tried to save the remaining pieces of the windmill but wasn't able to due to its size. For years I've been hearing that story but had no idea if it was true or not, now there is official proof of that, and not only that YOU are the person that was involved in that story! Holy cow...

Interesting fact the teletubbie house is also quite literally next to the tots tv house which was demolished just last year it has a arguably more interesting history to it and it's sad both of the sets turned out the way they did.

i went there when i worked for a timber company, the mice had been at the wiring and it had to be partially rebuilt, stole loads of plastic flowers from the set and had a wander round the dome. was very surreal.

the construction of the tots tv house started in 1992 and filming began In January 1993 and ended by April 1998 and the construction of the teletubbies house started in 1995 and filming began two years later in 1997 and that lasted until 2001 when they had stop everything due to people trespassing the sets which the owner wasn’t happy with people trespassing because it’s private land and people were vandalising the area and it became too much so they have agree with the farmers to restore the sets back to nature including the teletubbies house that got turned into a pond and set fire to the tots tv house and burn it down

This is the year teletubbies wrapped up the production in 2001 and unfortunately I’m not a fan of ragdoll productions at all it’s chuckle vision that’s kept me occupied and it’s part of my childhood
