I'm not a fan of the 1995-2002 films (aside from H20) but I will say the transfers are amazing. The Blu Rays were too soft and looked like lazy DVD upscales; so seeing them properly remastered is good news.

Some people have said Curse has an audio sync problem the last 5 minutes on the theatrical version. Also, an audio sync problem on H20 starting with chapter 11 through the end. I haven't notice this so it could be player specific. The director commentary is missing on the deleted and alternate scenes and Web cam on Resurrection.

The best part about the dreadful RESURRECTION was the deleted scenes and alternate endings on previous release and they didn't include them? Weird. I like the artwork for these releases too.

Great review! I just got my box set it on Monday and love it. And you are correct. Halloween 6 looks the best out of the set.

I dont know about you but im getting sick of Multi disc cases not properly holding the disc. We pay good money for this stuff. Every time the disc falls out there is a potential for scratches.

I’ve noticed the new shout factory 4Ks don’t hold the disc in very well, army of darkness and return of living dead both had disc flying out and hard to hold them in

Great vid! I know you probably already have this in the works, but could you do a comparison of the PS5's 4k capabilities vs a dedicated blu ray 4k player? I want to know if I'm good for now with the PS5 or if its worth it to invest in a blu-ray player.

Ok, what’s the likelihood of 1-5 getting a release with the same packaging to match this set? Or a collection with all of them. I want to buy these on 4K but I feel weird getting 1-5 individually then a box set packaging for these, then I guess just buying the later sequels individually. I could just get this and just wait and see for the rest but then the only Halloween 4ks I own are 6-8 which is even weirder
