I am wondering what is the difference between nslookup and dig. Both seem to bring the same information.

You can just type nslookup and it will open the console for typing and executing lookups with the need of typing nslookup command everytime that you want to lookup for the IP

I wold like to bring to you all a little thing about it.

If u are looking for the IP of the authoritative server for any organization, u could be use the -type paramether to specify any (as default is A), showing u all the a extended versino of the information abour the damain, its really hopefull if u are in the data collection step. U can also try set all inside nslookup app (unless in Kali).
